Race Judicata® Volunteer Registration

Volunteering is a terrific way to enjoy the race and support Race Judicata® 2017. All volunteers receive a volunteer t-shirt and goody bag. There are 4 starting times (4:00, 5:00, 5:45 and 6:30 pm)---although we cannot guarantee specific assignments, we will do our best to accommodate your preference. You will be notified of your assignment when you check in on race day.

Gear Check

Volunteers are needed to “check” participants’ belongings at a designated location while they are running or walking (similar to a “coat check”). The participants bib number is written on a plastic bag at check-in. Participants’ belongings are returned at the conclusion of the run/walk. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

30 Volunteers are needed
Time Commitment:
1st Shift: 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Course Marshals and Traffic Control

Volunteers are placed along the course to direct and encourage runners/walkers. CSEM will describe the exact duty (i.e., point left) to the individual marshals. Volunteers should plan on being on the course for approximately one and a half hours and are instructed to dress comfortably and for the weather.

25 Volunteers are needed.
Time Commitment: 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Water Stations

Volunteers will be asked to fill and distribute water cups at one of the following locations: the start/finish or on the course, next. Volunteers need to make sure that water remains plentiful for all participants as well as clean the area after the runners/walkers have passed.

10 Volunteers are needed for the course and 10 for the Start/finish (approx.).
Time Commitment:
Course Water Station 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Start/Finish Water Stations 5:45 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
