CVLS' professional, fiscally responsible board of directors guides the agency.
Advisory Board members act as CVLS ambassadors to build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with organizations in the Chicago legal community and beyond. The Advisory Board seeks to ensure the continuity and success of CVLS by providing strategic guidance, advice, and support to the organization.
The young attorneys comprising Chicago Volunteer Legal Services’ Junior Board of Directors serve as representatives of CVLS and its mission to provide high quality pro bono civil legal services to low-income Chicagoans. With membership ranging from solo practitioners to associates at large firms, the common denominator in this group of legal aid ambassadors is a belief that access to legal representation should be available to everyone, not just those who can afford it.
