During law school, Gabriel served as a corporate transactional extern at a railcar leasing company and an intern for a judge at the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division. After graduating, he volunteered at the Chicago Legal Clinic and later joined the Legal Help for Homeowner’s Project at Prairie State Legal Services as a Staff Attorney, where he counseled and represented clients facing foreclosure. Just prior to joining CVLS in 2016, Gabriel worked as an Associate Attorney for a private law firm concentrating his practice on insurance defense litigation as well as providing co-counsel support in civil rights litigation and municipal matters.
